Would it be possible, when/if I become a full GC, for me to have a level or two uploaded for some of my custom events? I've been looking around all of the levels intended for games, and even levels that aren't intended for games, and I can't find one that suits my needs. I'd make the levels of course, and I've got a friend who is my scripting guru and he does the scripting that I can't do. The only problem is that I know I'm going to need the NPC Server for at least one of the levels; anyone have any idea when/if it's coming up? I made a cool level for GC Studios... I call it Block Labyrinth... but it's being a pain trying to rescript it for an NPC Server... I have to add a LOT of triggeractions, need to change hide/show to x=initx x=64 (it won't read triggeractions when it's hidden for some reason), and the hardest part would be fixing the hearts/hp reading to completely serverside. What a pain... OH YES... What a pain. Not to mention it's using level-wide vars, that just adds to the confusion. I could do without the level-wide vars if the thing would squeeze itself through RC if I scripted it as this.vars in each of the blocks. Yea... anyways... it's cool... but right now it hates me very much.

excuse me for pointing out your lies kat, you seem to say them all too often. I have yet to see you spot ANY lies. You're either blind or just completely ignored Evil's post.

The most recent estimate I've heard on the NPC server was 3 months. Sting 3 months = 3 years.

I'll eat your face, Anny. My first job I ever had on any server was a LAT job. And all of my favorite ones I've every had were LAT jobs. <3 LATs

3 months = 3 years. Actually, Kel, I believe the ratio is that said two weeks in the world of Stefan is a year in reality, judging from the completion estimates on the Guild CP we got.

All I hear is blah blah blah blah blah. Just tell us what it does. I think I might need a screenshot to explain it... one min... Oh Jesus... just another min... Well... the level editor just corrupted all of my offline versions... and I have the most current version on UL's server for NPC Server rescripting... but I think I lost RC there... Oh cool... I have the retiled sides version on Cynical for NPC Server scripting. The same one where the NPC half-works. Yay, a screenshot, now I just have to upload it someplace... and here you go home.comcast.net/~jake13jake/storage/graal.png Now for the explanation. There are a lot of blocks in the level like the one my char is grabbing, and each one is on a black underneath-vase spot. You have to kill them to get through. I think I sent night a list of commands and some concepts with it. Every time a block is hit, regardless of what is hitting it, it will lose one heart. bombs on/off - enables/disables bombs hurting the blocks swords on/off - enables/disables swords hurting the blocks arrows on/off - enables/disables arrows hurting the blocks all on/off - see above 3 blockhearts (hearts) - sets the amount of hearts a block has respawn (time)/off - sets a time for a block to respawn/turns off respawning start/stop game - starts or stops a game. reset - resets the blocks to the level's initial state for them. open/close - opens or closes the entrances from the audience. left click - sets a block's hearts to 0. vent: Enter the Fortress 1. Gather players in the audience section. 2. Set the blocks' features 3. Place limit warp(s) someplace (usu. on the side platforms, with a heart image opposite) 4. Place Baddy Gates, Mines, and whatever makes you happy. 5. Open the doors (making sure to DQ door blockers), and when everyone is in close them. 6. Start the game. --Also intended for LMS, Mazes, and other experimental events (like maybe an awkward, alternative place for step-elim).
