I know there's two debates but I'll only cover one. The one in the new mystic thread. How come every debate those two are in sucks balls? And end up going no where? They're both too similar for only one to have the sucky debate virus, I assume it's both. For example one needs to look no further then how the Gandhi debate got started. *Quick Reenactment* Aerox - Here's a picture of Mystic's Grandpa, Gandhi! Mystic - He's a pretty cool Grandpa! Gladius - IT'S TIME TO ATTACK MYSTIC WITH STUPIDITY!!!! Mystic - OHSNAPS IT'S TIME TO DEFEND MYSELF WITH... MORE STUPIDITY!!!! Now I remember making this post here... That debate's a waste cause well... cause it's not a debate, just like the debates I was in recently here's the pattern. Person 1:Mistake Made Person 2:Offer Correction Person 1:DEFEND PRIDE WITH STUPIDITY!!! Person 2:Correct stupidity *repeat last two moves over and over again* Unless you're like me and love punching bags that never give in it'll get you no where. Gladius of course stated I was person 1, but was his statement honest? Remember I'm not in these current debates, yet the DEFEND PRIDE WITH STUPIDITY is all over the place... who has the syndrome?!

And why did you tell Gladius all this correct information?

TBH the indian independence movement was never really being discussed.
The topic being discussed was whether gandhi deserved the title of 'one of the greatest people ever' based on his long lasting effects.
The point was, his effects weren't long lasting, which is why he isn't one of the greatest ever. At least thats what my side of the arguement was.
And please clel, don't act like nothing you said was stupid. I asked you if you picked jade first and some other sub-par players and were facing deo+mighty+thor+other good people, how many games you would win out of 10. You claimed you would win a bunch of them. At that point I realized I wasn't argueing/debating with someone that was taking this seriously.

And please clel, don't act like nothing you said was stupid. I'm not, so why even bother? Pride, defend pride, defend pride with stupidity. I asked you if you picked jade first and some other sub-par players and were facing deo+mighty+thor+other good people, how many games you would win out of 10. You claimed you would win a bunch of them. If the sarcasm is obvious... At that point I realized I wasn't argueing/debating with someone that was taking this seriously. Why should I debate seriously with someone who has no interest in finding the greater good?

The greater good is hosting good events were everyone has the same chance to win based on their skills and how they play, not by how bad they lag.

And how did anything I say go against this?

Something along the lines of 'don't try to stop me when i pick gotenks and jade first!!!'

and that interferes with that how?

The fact that you are going to lose most of the time by picking a sub par team, which in effect goes against everything a fair game stands for?

I'm captain, I can't pick certain people, how is that fair for everyone?

Because when you pick jade/gotenks/someone else whos not that good first, two things can happen for each player:
1) you pick them for your team which has a low chance of winning 2) the other team picks them for the team that has a high chance of winning
Either way, the game is most likely going to be quick, and thus wasting their time either way. No one likes to lose badly, and winning big makes you feel kind of empty.
It's not really fair for you to increase the chances of wasting everyone's time just b/c you feel like you have the right to pick who you want first, even if they aren't that good.

But it's still not fair, I cannot pick who I want to pick.
