My Ideas:
Smaller world.
Reset Economy with new actual systems. See UN.
More items
More events.
More guild attractions like what Rufus said.
I'll assume my suggestions are all self-explanatory.

UN has tons of places where you can buy a guildhouse for your guild, or just your own house. I believe Rufus or DC mentioned that part. They also have a bunch of items, which are traded often, along with hats. I mentioned to you in a PM that they ****ed themselves with the overstocking of too many hats, but their economy is alright.
Era has a good economy too, but their prices are over-inflated not making it very ideal.

If I recall things right about era:
They start off by selling 3 basic guns. You can another 2 in a quest. You can buy a few more at pyro tech and crap. But a majority of the guns you can't find in stores (or at least none ive been to). Thus most of the guns are on the streets and being sold at random prices. People try to scam you, and people try to doop guns. It kills any true value the weapons have. Value is based on supply and demand. Obviously demand for certain weapons is high, but when you can have any number of them made...the true value is far below what is actually asked for.
So if classic was to turn to items being traded/sold, we'd have to be careful about the number released.

Eh, I think an economy is something that Classic should never try to get into. Classic was always about simple quirky fun, pking, sparring, events and guilds. Economies make everything into a chore and they're not always succesful and just add extra complications to the pot.

So players sitting around with thousands of gelats/graalats in their bank accounts is a good thing? Classic currency is worthless because there is nothing to spend it on.
Same thing with tickets. I have 235 tickets. I could buy the other half of the gc prizes I don't have, but lets be honest: 90% of them are completely useless. RPS, the chair, and the coin are the only ones with any practical use that I can name off the top of my head. Oh and beer. Of course.
Maybe a true economy isn't necessary. But we certainly need a use for the gelats/tickets we horde together.

Don't get me wrong, the gelats need completely wiping yeah. I know people who have extremely stupid amounts in their bank account and they usually supply new players and the money just spreads. I don't believe that an economy like other servers have would suit Classic though.

Say the money is cleared out. You still get gelats when people die and when you cut bushes. Eventually it'd just pile up again. We can either just have occasional money swipes or we can find a use for them. I prefer the later but the question is what.

Im with Mystic or whoever said it. We need an economy. What is the point of gelats?? They are honestly useless. Same with tickets. we need to wipe the money, and start an actual use for it. Give me a reason to spend time on classic. Give me a goal to work towards.

I just want a purpose for gralats, really. If gralats had a purpose, then there's an economy for ya. If Classic shouldn't have an economy, might as well throw in the towel for gralats. It's something to do on Classic if there are limited items/hats that players might want to work towards y'know. Maybe we can even tie something in with events.
As DC Said, the black gelet quest ultimately ****ed gralats.

Well the black gelat was what...100k? 1 mil? I don't recall exactly, but you ended up spending like 70% of that on the morpher and knife. Still, a lot extra that went unused. Quest certainly didn't help.
Hell that quest isnt even there anymore is it.

In old Classic there used to be quite a lot of uses for gelats and there was never an economy behind it. Items such as the trident was sold for gelats at pretty high prices, and we didn't all have access to massive fundings like we do now so they were pretty hard to get. We also had upgrades to buy such as skins for the rat form and bird shot, food that healed such as burger refuge burgers, ice creams, we have boots now that are pretty high priced and the possibilities are quite high. There was a use for cutting down bushes and gaining gelats, but this wasn't a part of an economy, it was a part of the game lore. With more players you end up gaining less event wins and therefore less tickets. There does need to be a revision in the GC prizes, and the selection could do with a few more useful items, but again this doesn't require an economy like the one most people think of.

Quest certainly didn't help. Hell that quest isnt even there anymore is it. well youre only left with 5-6k if you buy the morpher and the KOF when that was not gainable from a quest. Still, people could just jump on an alt account and pile the money up for themselves thus ruining the economy further. Maybe that wasn't a common gameplan for people, but there's always loopholes behind everything.
