The point of this thread is to prevent GCs from asking requests (most ask for requests to get ideas of what to host).
An event I used to host where you get a group of people, they all sit around and discuss which event they want to play. The event is played and then the process repeats, everytime someone wins three events they get a ticket, and any player can leave/join the event as they please.
I don't remember what Bubbles and Tim would host exclusively but yeah those were the days. After they left I guess I sort of lost it, I remember being a very active and good GC before that.
I was wanting to do that but I didn't have the time to pull it off. I'll probably start descriptions little by little in a week or so.
Tweaks to already mainstream events normally work out well but for me most fun events are difficult to host - if you're making an event and you want it to be difficult to host tons of creative possibilites open up, however you'll need the skills and to make the event fun aswell.
They were like "omg remove the statue". I was like "use some strategy other than standing in the middle", but they were still angry.
Clearly anything that involves brainpower is not liked by the public.
Yeah the public can give GCs a hard time about anything, but they only oppose a GC's will to try and get something out of them which I see as a big no no. If the public realizes that a GC will do what he wants to do regardless they'll put up less trouble, since arguing and complaining would have no point.

Looking at that list, there doesn't seem to be that many extreme variations in events really. I admit i catch myself hosting the same things, though i ask for requests ALOT. I also try to tweak events so its not the same ol same ol everytime.
