Alright so this thread is for discussing submitted CTF maps. Keep it civil guys. Any posts that go too far off topic in this thread or are offensive/inappropriate will either be deleted or edited by me in some less than flattering way.

The new addition of Graal City CTF is one hell of a map for more than 5 people. It took an hour and a half for the first real game starting at 7 then 6 then eventually 5 where the game soon ended after. But i think we could use more maps equivalent to large and indoor 2. Indoor 2 is kinda whack and such.

Technically there is another indoor level that is all set up but I don't believe it is scripted. Basically it's the old indoor I remember from a long time ago (years) and was quite fun.
CTF Ice needs to be modified a bit IMO. The bases are too wide open and defenders can easily slide in and slide out (don't take that out of context) while the defense is mostly helpless. A bomb wall goes away, after all.
Can we just remove the water in ctf small? The spikes are annoying and probably create lag. Also the stairs to the upper levels are quite useless and are usually blocked off so they could be removed as well. Also could it be possible to make the bases the same (granted flipped)? Blues seem to have an edge for flag running with all the extra space below the base + no rock to block them when they exit the cave.

Maybe a platform instead of the water with 4 stairs conjoining to each other?

Actually there's something I've been meaning to do to that water ever since I added CTF Small. I've wanted to make it so that you lose flag/get warped back to your base when you touch it ala CTF Sumo. I just for some reason never did it (most likely b/c at the time that level was added there was no ctf sumo thus no easy way to do it... afterward though eh...who knows). We'll see though. As for the rest I may edit the bases in the way I do when I host it since I always use my online tile editor to add stairs in various places har har.

Yeah I agree that water level with spikes level gets laggy. Why not just add like a wall or gate around the water or something

I'll post this in this thread. The submission thread is only for submitting not for comments. That's what this thread was for. So if any of you are wondering why your posts were deleted from it then that's why. I would of moved some of them but it doesn't appear you can move individual posts. Anyway keep the comments in here not in the other thread.
