Well then you can count yourself lucky every time i nearly managed to break through, and left you and whoever on 1 or 2 hearts before dieing Dante would show up 10 seconds later and fail, leaving you at 6 or 7 hearts every time i returned.

he did help you get a couple easy flag captures by waiitng ther ewhen we are low and so yours and his combined hearts wud **** us over. And brett was the topdog defense of your guys team imo, we couldnt get much high hearts past him.

Ever since I announced my original team idea of Clel, Night, Deo, and Thor there's been alot of talk. How can a team so focus on offense even stand a chance, let alone be deemed one of the most threatening teams ever? I confidently exposed the idea and alot of people shut it down. Now Trip has announced his team, and I'm sure with the way he had his team TOP SECRET everyone feasted their eyes upon his topic in the news section the figure out what his team was all about. Trip, Ibo, Gladius, Thor, and Laura. The team is definitely a threat, I don't think it matters who Kid Oni and Mystic get on their teams - They're basically just here to fill in the other two captain spots. But can Trip's team tackle mine? My Team (myself, Flameboy, Deophite, Rob, and Zedo) has pretty much flawless design (I am glad I caught Flameboy when I did). Each player on that team is balanced and above average in defending, attacking, hunting, and guarding. They know the game and are willing to play to win. I cannot deny that Trip's team construction is very good, but it lacks this since of balance and goes more with Gladius's theory that defense wins championships with the hope of Thor's lag eventually making the required scores. The plan is hopeless though, cause our over offense team could easily take out any 2 man defense to speak of, and everyone currently on our team with an exception of maybe Flameboy knows how to defend against the lag of thor and work it against him.
In fact Mystic literally thought I sucked at CTF, so I challenged him to a game. Now we might not have went against mystic's real team or Trip's real team. But it was mixture of both seemingly, having Mystic and Brett from Mystic's team, Laura and Thor from Trip's. And it was a 4 on 4 on Sumo aswell. Our team (Me, Zedo, Deo, and Rob) may of had a bumpy start but once we got organized things winning just didnt feel hard enough. There are some quirks though, that wasnt fully Trip's team so we really can't say for sure we can take them yet - and at the brunt of our comeback they had Aki who was a good defender but was lacking just a bit. She did leave though so Laura can take her place, and the team fell flat on it's face.
The next thing that comes to mind is the modes. Now I noticed each mode has been assigned a number for the random dice roll, and while Small, Large, Indoor, Future, and Sumo have their normal numbers but Gravity/Ice/Lol are all bundled into six. Why not just axe Ice and Lol since Lol is the result of DC getting drunk and having a one night stand with future and Ice is so new and unused no one could really compete in it yet. Actually Ice should be in, but if you think about it there are people who strive at each unpopular mode (Ice, Gravity, Small), and those modes should atleast be included for the sake of CTF Mastery. Now this dice system was going to be used for Gladius's CTF Tourney so I have no idea what Trip's ganna do with it. I will admit though, no one would have any hope against my team on Gravity or Future, and maybe those two should be taken out so my team won't have the chance to reign supreme. Call me cocky, but it's true. I think something that should be considered is that all of my players (probably not Zedo, though he did rock the CTF Sumo) are excellent at all the types of CTF. No matter what number comes up no playing field would have us destined to lose, but we do have a two (Future and Gravity) where we're destined to win.

No threat? You do realize it was all deophite that game, thor was worrying too much about the Defense, i told him to go we have it but nooo, you guys had 1 man D and no one but me took advantage of that and i came back with the flag once. That was bretts first sumo, he did pretty well considering its his first, and hes potentially one of the best. You know what, im versing you first roiund my team.

I scored 3 early flags, and it should have been 6, but the defense defended so deep the opposition managed to catch up with me on the middle channel while i was on the side channel. We were in control until they lost one of their weakest players and he was replaced by Rob, which kinda unbalanced things.
You are blaming it on me despite the fact that at 4-4 they managed to score about 3 in quick succession in each of the times i went forward, at that point i had given up, i couldn't really be arsed, i had been causing problems to their defense, should have scored more but we had a good lead nonetheless, but unfortunately the goal was 10 scores and they were handed a lifeline by a replacement.
When it comes to the real thing, and i have Trip/Ibo/Glad behind me, i wouldn't have to worry about defense at all, and if the same events occured as the start of this game i would score 6 instead of 3, because Trip, Ibo and Glad know how to defend in a high line, dispose of the oppositions attackers quickly, and ensure you can keep a constant flow of attack going rather than have it interrupted by defensive duties, aswell as being able to knock anybody in the middle channel off when i have the flag on the wider channels.
3 People attacking at once might be effective against Mystic, Akita, and a guy who had never played ctf sumo before, it definately clogged up the base and prevented me from going forward, but with a real defense behind me that will only make my job going forward alot easier.

mystic I think you're an idiot i think our defense was quite equal between all 3 of us, and you guys had 3 guys attacking with ibo waiting for us to be low to strike.

Keep jumpin on their dicks, i was actually doing quite nice Defense i kept telling you to go foward tkae advantage of their defense but know you stayed behind typing up complaints and standing there. Dont blame that poo on the defense they ahd 3 guys attacking, i could take them on in time that they wudnt leave our base with brett though he did ok for his first sumo game just he shoulda stayed in the middle. And that "guy" happens to be one of the best all around UN CTF players and potential to be real good here. Just his first time playin sumo. Which is why i put him on my team, potential. You think the teams all about you doing everything. All you have to worry about is gettin the flag, i saw they had 3 guys in our base and rushed to their base, and you know what? i got the flag back, other times where i got the flag i was unable to get out due to respawners. With your lag, it should been a piece of cake. And your team thinks they're all that(sorry trip but its true), every one of them cept for trip kinda. Thus not resulting in good teamwork. gladius thinks hes the best around in defense except for his top 4 dicks, ibo gets fustrated when he cant do poo and starts performing poorly, laura thinks shes like the best offense you could see that wasnt thor, trip trys to bring the team together, ill give him the plus on that.

Sorry to bust bubbles, but i wasnt there that game now was i? Shame you scored so many without a single person from my defense there. Its like playing the Dallas Cowboys without Romo and T.O, beating them, then bragging Keep in mind i have 3/4 "Top tier" players as you call it clel. Also, I make people cry at sumo, so does the rest of my team. As for offense, i believe i out-do your team there as well. Thor/Ibo or whatever combination of offense i choose, will wreck on anyone in our way. As Thor pointed out, in the matches to come....my offense can focus purely on scoring..because they have nothing to fear on the defensive part of things

Sadly clel, you aren't getting paid to type up these books of yours.
Also, yeah, your team would wtf pwn in gravity for sure.
But future? Don't be so sure. Obviously different teams, but in a 5v5 game trip+glad defeated the team that deo was on. The score was like 6-4 so it was close, but don't think of your team as an auto win in future.
Also, mystic. Don't judge our teams when you have a total of 1 recruit so far.
Back to clel.
I numbered the gametypes so I can randomly select the gamemode when I host ctf. Obviously we have more types than dice numbers, so i stuck grav+ice+LoL together, since they are the most underhosted of the types we have. Once I hosted and it came up 6, so I ruled LoL out and had the people vote between gravity and ice. Ice won the vote.
I dunno how trip wants the gametype to be decided or anything. But let's rule out LoL, for sure.
I don't know exactly what Trip was thinking when he made his team. But the theory of "hey lets have 3-4 ppl on defense and let thor do his thing" only works in sumo, only after a long time, and doesnt work all the time.
Obviously one of us is going to be attacking as well. If I had to guess, trip gathered the players with "ctf instincts", which is what I prize most personally.
Whether he was correct, or even if this plan will work out remains to be seen.
But rest assured clel, it ain't gonna be easy.

No one's riled up. I mean, why get riled up about a match that isn't even scheduled yet?
Zero is good, but I don't see him much anymore :/
And Tad is decent, but not exactly a model citizen.

Well three of the teams have been hinted at / revealed.
But what about oni's team?
Maybe he has assembled an apocalyptic team that will dominate us all!!?!
