Yeah after they score. Last time I checked, when two players walk into each other, they press against each other like two rams headbutting. If they score let them have that, nothing is 100% stoppable. Figure out what's going on and streamline your strategy. Walking into eachother is not how it works. I was saying find that special someone and get close to them, play a soft song and have people gang around all pressing S, hold in the position towards your special someone... and you'll get inside them. Should you have enough HP left by this time it is possible you can take it a step further and walk through your special someone.

We should just close every form of CTF and save these endless discussions about lag, tiers cheaters, tappers and other bullpoo. Not ever have i seen so much drama about a little event CTF is good in that case, it creates drama. Where there is drama there is interest, and interest can keep servers alive? CTF isn't the exact way I'd like to keep the server alive, but whatever works if you ask me. Many of the current people in GC's are not at one level, they see things different while you suppose to be a team. GC's should not mess with how others host, should not be messing around in topics where someone makes a complaint. I would work with other GCs, but not everyone is going to want to do every little thing it takes to make the team the best it can be. So there's no point, I'll go it alone. That is the big difference between " now" and " then" , back "then" when someone had a complaint about a gc member, or something else it was the admin who acted, nowadays all you nubtards react on any type of complaint. No wonder why Night never responds to complaints, he has like 3 crybabies that will do it for him "mystic, clel, mystic" should i name more? Yeah, I will say it's weird that I'm able to handle my own complaints, I personally wish there was a penalty for being a sucky GC and/or a reward for being a good GC. Else there can be a lack of motivation which could create problems. Many of the current GC's are seeking a way of making the other look like a fool, while it used to be " a team" . The current spirit of this team has turned into " me myself and I" and nothing else. You pooheads should start working together instead of moving yourself into endless discussions over little bullpoo. If it were up to me things would be different, but I don't really have control over anything but myself. I'd like to keep things simple and non-dramatic, but these debates are nice brain teasers despite getting to be a pain... oh well it's what I signed up for eh? Might aswell have fun with it.

excluding people because they lag is inherently wrong.
Something is wrong with the system, not the players, and players should not be penalized for this.

Sure let's all adjust out strategy based on the people who want to try and cheat. /end sarcasm
Yeah I would like to see evidence of this in action.

No the thing is that everyone is so focused on CTF only that it has become an obsession for so many people.
Another obsession for some people (gotenks as main example) is to look for any type of mistake made by a GC to get him to defend himself all over these forums.
Players want GC's to host like gods, they should do everything right and nothing wrong. Any descision that a gc is making that isn't the right one in the players eyes, will be up for debate, and 1 minute later a topic is being create to discuss whatever the gc has done wrong.
Point is, CTF has made the player blind for any kind of descision. The drama that comes with this event is getting out of hand, gc's are being bitched at while it is a team that is losing and nothing else.
Other then that, there are only a few gc's that know how to act with drama and those are "death, excalibur, luda" why? because they just don't give a poo bout other peoples complaints, you barely see them posting here because they know not to take this game serious nor taking ctf serious. Yet all mystic, clel and gladius are doing is defending everything they are being bitched about, over the smallest things.
Did it not come up to your minds that defending everything might make you look more suspicious?
you gc's should learn to ignore everything that is being said by people that might turn out bad.
focus on your stupid events a little more and you enjoy your jobs better.
And this "debating" that you gc's call it, isn't debating, cause debating happends without insulting eachother or making eachother look bad, instead you ****tards try to use any kind of insult you have to win " this debate" , when clel will simply just close the thread when he feels he can't win it anymore.
so bottom line is, you gc's need to level and make sure you're capable of listening to eachother, advice, improving points... etc etc. that's cooperation. Don't insult eachother to make yourself look like a better GC cause u can't.
(and if you don't like my english don't bother to read it, unless you need to find a reason to insult me, which is most likely the case if you need to act cool;))

TBH I don't get bitched at much for my hosting.
The tier list is another story.

Your post makes sense and I see your point of view pretty well. Don't worry about your broken english, it's fine, I've read way worse. Players want GCs to host like gods - well GCs are pretty much the only thing Classic has going for it. It's understandable that the people who play classic want one of the few things that makes it fun to turn out correctly. I do want the overall seriousness of CTF toned down overall, but that is out of my control. Death, Excal, and Luda don't take Graal seriously eh? Lets look into that a bit. Not taking stuff serious is at it's heart a defense mechanism, if your opponent doesn't take stuff seriously then it's harder to get under their skin. Generally if you're pissed at losing and someone goes "y so pissed over a kiddy game?" it's going to hurt, there's no dodging that, it will result in you getting more pissed, and the more pissed you get (should you lash out) the more laughter that's caused, and it will all be at your own dismay. It's the nature of bullying. Since this is online, you can easily counter the nature of bullying, just abuse that defensive mechanic and it's A-OK. Okay, Clel already gets all that so why are we here in OMG SERIOUS debates? Well I notice stuff, I try to tell people about it. Example Mystic left some stuff on the overworld for an event he was planning to do later, I saw it was a public level with GC droppables in there, I know GCs aren't supposed to just leave their droppables in public so I deleted them. Mystic goes: Btw, which one of you idiots deleted my event in Zols i was gonna host today. I own up to it: It was me, it was early in the morning and you were no where in sight. You can't occupy public levels like that. and he responds The people of Classic need to learn to move the **** on and stop whining about a server they don't play anymore (Aerox). And Clel is acting like it was so bad i left statues there for a day because i needed a bunch of players for this event i was going to do. Clel stop being a dumbass and learn that no one cared. and of course this eventually spews into another Clel vs. the Twin Dragons debate. The point is I tried to keep civil with these guys, in each and every debate, look at the first debate and how many posts I went just professionally posting facts, and look at insults I kept getting. Eventually I realized they were just defending their pride and no matter what I said or showed them, they will just say "CLEL YOU'RE AN IDIOT OMG WTF WERE YOU THINKING WHEN YOU CAME UP WITH THAT?!?!". To show pride and desperately defend it means they must have not fully grasped the "unserious defensive mechanic", this means they'll boomerang me back a response everytime, it's guaranteed, they have to cause it's beyond their own control. But why respond to them if it's pointless? And why add insults? Well is there any chance someone will submit their beliefs to mine if I'm a complete bitch to them? No way, and this is going to last forever anyway so I might aswell learn weaknesses in my own beliefs, how? Have Mystic and Gladius do the dirty work, insulting them pretty much insures they're going to boomerang back with full force, putting even the slightest weaknesses in my argument on full display for all to see. By learning my weaknesses I know how to better work around them, I'm using this situation to evolve. clel will simply just close the thread when he feels he can't win it anymore. I don't know what exactly you meant here, main reason why I closed the thread was because I saw a loop coming, and I looked down the road and predicted the eventual outcome of the loop. I've debated Gladius on the issue of lag enough to know he stands no chance and there's nothing to gain through such. Same goes for the bit with Mystic, I knew where it was headed, it was an easy win, but these people just won't give up and I don't feel like handing out tail whippin number 5,251. Like tats though they just fired up another thread and kept at it, so might aswell keep this setup I have rockin eh?

LoL clel acts like he was acting civil the entire time yet a good portion of his posts ended with "LOL RAPED".
Still clel continues to think he won the lag debate...*sigh*. Guess he'll never learn. He agreed in a previous post that GCs are supposed to host fair events, yet he continues to push that lag is far. IDK someone else translate.

LoL clel acts like he was acting civil the entire time yet a good portion of his posts ended with "LOL RAPED". When? At the start, no, that was the point behind "I tried to be civil", I wasnt always, but I was at one time. Still clel continues to think he won the lag debate...*sigh*. Guess he'll never learn. He agreed in a previous post that GCs are supposed to host fair events, yet he continues to push that lag is far. IDK someone else translate. Lag is fair, the advantages aren't outrageous and there's disadvantages to keep it from being a dominant clutch. Just cause some people have trouble against such does not mean a lagger is breaking any rules (cheating) by lagging. Balls in your court.

I think most of us were civil at the start but eventually we got tired of being nice when the other side wouldn't budge.
Oh thanks I need to work on my game anyways. *shoots* Crap...missed.
Anyways. Lag is not fair because not everyone has it (yes everyone has a little lag since they're connecting to a server, but lets not be picky) and it gives people an advantage when they're not supposed to. Everyone is supposed to be on even ground, since that is the definition of fair. Some people having an advantage breaks this rule, no matter if there is a "disadvantage" or not. *passes to clel*

Everyone's supposed to be on an equal ground... since atleast one side of the world will always be breaking this rule games are never fair. If you're lagging large portions then it should be taken care of, but Oni-Gotenks-Pre Thor style lag is not worth the kicks. *passes to Gladius*
