Apparently you're supposed to "add your lag and their lag together, and swing accordingly". That works their character is perpendicularly intersecting your sword (like a t). But in ctf flag hunting or sometimes in spars where people run in random zig-zag patterns its nearly impossible to try to guess where they'll be with any accuracy/consistency.
In summary: no.

This RAPES serverside! The only issue is you can't hit nobody which is fine by me until I'm in CTF and have to hunt... but other then that it's EPIC WIN!!!

in CTF, all you gotta do is time yourself. IF someone is running straight at you, keep your distance then slash accurately at the right time. Not always surefire for me but it works,

Serverside was playable atleast. All we had to put up with was the odd wank hit here and there, it never really was as detrimental to the game as the current one is. in CTF, all you gotta do is time yourself. IF someone is running straight at you, keep your distance then slash accurately at the right time. Not always surefire for me but it works, That doesn't just apply to CTF, it often applies in general pk/sparring. You're forced to sit back and slash. You can't do anything else or they'll sit back and slash you. Can't hit them when they're moving away from you either, can you?

I just hate HD's being changed all the time, there have probably been like 20 different HD's over the past few years. Would be better to stick with one that everyone is satisfied with rather than constantly changing it.

Problem is, you can never find a single HD that will satisfy everyone. Someone will be at an advantage/disadvantage b/c its an online game (aka multiple connections).

CTF xsumo wasn't bad imo. Apparently mystic thinks differently.
Large was a different story. Strange recoils and laggers were seen throughout. Not to mention death scoring the winner despite dieing + 3 enemies on flag spawn.
Do the recoils change w/ the hds?

Well. when you're hit by someone 5-10 tiles away from you constantly, you can't think of that as a good game.
